Thrown under the bus

Why pull a bus? One, because it’s fun to try. Two, because it tests you. Three, because it’s for a great cause, done with a strong community.
The great local CrossFit community gathered for Rainier CrossFit’s third annual “Rainier’s Strongest Man and Woman” event. They walked heavily weighted yokes down a course, deadlifted a giant log, pulled the big red double-decker bus, pressed a variety of heavy things overhead, and, Atlas-like, hoisted weighty stones up onto platforms. CFES had just one entrant this year (strong work, Jeralee!), but we were out in force as spectators and supporters, as always.

Thanks for coming our way, you guys! Jeralee was awesome - proving crossfitters can do anything with a little training (that was clearly NOT the first time she'd ever loaded a stone or pressed something overhead!)
Your support is appreciated - every year! You guys are the only affiliate with a 3x event attendance record - right up there with Casey's grandparents!
We appreciate your show of support more than you know, and it is events like these that show the heart of the CrossFitter - sure, I'll try it, sure I'll do it again, and I'll smile and laugh the whole way through. You guys are great.
