Murph

CrossFit Eastside - Murph 2007
Veteran's Day CrossFit workout
In memory of Medal of Honor recipient Lt. Michael P. Murphy

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother

I finally read the entire story of Lt. Murphy. Very touching and inspiring.

I hope doing Murph on Veterans' Day becomes a CFE tradition. I can't think of a better way to show our appreciation for vets than to push ourselves to the edge. They've been doing that for us for centuries. An hour (or more, ahem) of work is nothing compared to the sacrifices they've made for us.

Thank you, vets!

On a related note, I don't think I've ever been in more self-inflicted pain...
